Farming fun in farmville! Not.

Okay, if you have a facebook, I'm sure you'll know what farmville is. If you're strong, you will have resisted the constant requests to 'Join farmville and get your very own farm!'.
I crumbled. I have a farm. I resisted for sooo long! The curiosity got me :( I hate farmville. I hate it, I hate it! I mean, right now I'm thinking, "Is my cow ready for milking? What if my avocados are dying? What if?!" Damn that thing, it's turned me into an e-culchie! Addictive, I'll give it that.
I want to have a damn barn like the one in the picture, but I never will. I know it ;__; I'm a virtual screw up!

On another note, I'm going to Derry tomorrow. Not my city of choice, but whatever. At least I'm getting out of Ederney, even if I do happen to hate Derry. I mean, does anyone like it? Having to read Shadows on our Skin for english lit soured me to it even more. Good book like, but... so sad. Not that it's too different to Belfast, I just haven't read any particular books about Belfast during the troubles XD

Meh, whatever.

Halloweeeeeeeeen, peeps! (I said peeps... what of it? :P)
Can't wait! Although I've been forewarned of a rock/pumpkin/rotten potato attack *trembles* All because of that silly tomato incident last year! LOL I'm so happy Megan never put those videos on the internet. I just come off as a poindexter, as per usual.
I have such a huge list of movies to watch! Numerous disney movies, Spaceballs, Brokeback Mountain, Freaks (best horror movie ever), Rock 'n' Roll Highschool and god knows how many others. We may not get any sleep ^^"

Yesterday I got to watch Revenge of the Nerds, finally. It's awesome! And also, for anyone interested, it's the movie Ogre You Asshole got their name from :) I absolutely adore all of the Devo-ness in this movie! Are Devo really so geeky? Definitely recommend this movie though. It's awesome! I want to get a copy of it on DVD actually... Maybe I'll find a copy in Derry, if there's anywhere I can look. Last time I was there I found that there wasn't even a music/dvd store in the Foyle side. Where the hell else will I find one?! That is one of the many reasons I hate that damn city!

It also makes me wonder; are fraternities/sororities anything like they are in films? I'm actually kinda happy they don't have them in the UK. I would be treated like the nerds for sure. Although I did want to go to college in America... that ain't happening though. England, hopefully! I don't  want to have to go to a university in Ireland. Seriously.

Anywho, I'm off to check on my crops.

Oh, that's just sounds so rock 'n' roll.

>_<

I hate to admit that I've watched the x factor but I gotta say, I freaking love John & Edward.

They can't sing but they dance most fabulously :) Why are all gag music acts Irish, btw? Dustin the Turkey was AWESOME but wasn't received too well by the eurovision judges *cough*cough* Some people really can't take a joke! Eurovision kinda sucks, you gotta admit it.

The only reason I would ever watch this show, seriously. Every year they seem to be trying to find another act just exactly like the previous year's winner. It's boring (and the music's... to me, anyway, kinda meh.) A piss take every now and then is welcome!

*wipes tear of laughter from cheek* Love it.

It's not too often I fall in love with someone who made a spoon...

Okay, I'm aware that I should be typing up some type of coursework or another (or five others) but I feel like jabbering on like a caffeine driven monkey. *foof*

Hehe, jabbering's a funny word...

Anywho... I found an artist today thanks to my art teacher and wow, I freaking love his work.

Claes Oldenburg.

Remember that name, seriously. I find myself drawn to some of the weirdest stuff, I know, and his stuff falls firmly into the category of weird. My favourite of his works so far is the spoon bridge with the cherry on top. It's so ordinary when you think about it... but it's the sort of thing you'd just never think of turning into art... or a bridge. I think I'm going to use some of his stuff for my new project. I was going to do shops, a bakery and then use a lot of cutesy looking littlepies and cakes. Nice, right? I hope his stuff applies, seriously. Another of his works that made me.. laugh, when I come to think of it, was his ice cream piece. Priceless, really.

If I can't use him, I'm gonna cry. Although he's very 3D and fine art is very... not. I'll have to look into more paintings he's done. They're pretty random looking, maybe I could try imitating his style. Examiners like that, so I'm told. They also hate anime *throws evil glances in the direction of Belfast* Damn. My pokémon work is an entire waaaste!

Baaaaaaaah...

Well, there's a half fancy (you can dress up if you wanna but it ain't. I'm going to ^^ ) dress gig which I for some reason feel like going to this weekend. I don't really normally like moving very far from my computer. I normally only go as far as... my friend's computer. Bad, huh? People keep asking me to go places but I never really feel like getting one of these so called 'lives'. Who needs one when you have music, manga and Claes Oldenburg? (yes... I'm in love with him officially now. He's all I need :) )

Chamone!

(:

Uber unfair to the max.

I stand corrected... Ash are coming to Belfast and Dublin.

However, both gigs are over eighteen only. Seeing as I normally get mistaken for a 13/14 year old... (almost sixteen, fyi. Not my fault I'm 4'11" ;_;) I don't think I'd have much chance of getting in. So not fair.

Grease musical tomorrow!! I'm psyched! *sighs* Art deadline tomorrow aswell, although I think my teacher might let it slide... she better seeing as not one person is finished. Receiving fine art project aswell though. Hopefully I'll pick my theme better this time. Last time I didn't quite realise that I was dedicating a year (and a few months, as it turned out) of my life to bubbles ^^"

I hope the words are better this year! Fine art ftw! I just hate design when I'm bound by... anything.

So tired.

ooh, I was watching a shonen-ai Korean movie, Antique Bakery recently. It was awesome! It's based on a japanese anime and manga of the same name. Haven't read or watched 'em but I'd still say the movie is the best bet.

This story is about four men who work in a confectionary. Jin Hyuk is the owner; Son Woo is the superb baker that has a mysterious and mesmerizing aura; Soo Young (Choi Ji Ho) is the waiter and close bodyguard of Jin Hyuk; and last but not least Gi Beom (Yoo Ah), the ex-boxer who loves cake so much that he becomes a waiter at 'Antique'. This is a refreshing, yet heartfelt comedy about the 4 very unique personalities that work until the wee hours of the night at the small confectionary. The series follows the romance, family life, and most importantly friendship that these 4 men from different generations experience.
[synopsis shamelessly stolen from chinkymovies.blogspot.com]

To watch, go to dramacrazy :)

Oddly enough, it gets quite dark at points. And OMG the cake. If you finish this movie not wanting cake, you are clearly some evil-cake-hating-vampire-monster-man-beast. No kidding.

Johnny, be good.

Go Johnny go :)

Well, stupid Grease fever has set in. Y'see, my school is performing the musical and it's ALL anybody can talk about. I mean, I soo wanna see it but GOD! It's annoying when the girls are all squealing about the boys in the play. In girl's schools any boy who sets foot in the school is worshipped from afar... no matter what they're like. Why? Do the girls feel deprived or something? *sigh* It's ever so slightly annoying.

What I do enjoy, however, is that at 9.30am there's fifties rock'n'roll blasting out of the school as the cast prepares for their performance and the crowd begins to arrive. There's nothing like walking to class, serenaded by Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode. I might hang around the assembly hall to see if I can catch any Bo Diddley tomorrow. I love him. The description of him sounding like 'a cat pissing' is much unappreciated. And it's almost as ridiculous as my mother's description of Shakira sounding like the back of a bus!! I've heard of people looking like the back of a bus but... *shakes head* Not that I'm too fussed on Shakira.. she's alright.

I <3 fifties music so much. It was suuuch an exciting time for rock'n'roll.

Wow, just heard an AC/DC version of School Days. Too cool ;)

And yes, I resisted a 'for school' at the end of that. I just couldn't. :P

Damn you, Burgess!

Whoever invented urban land use models deserves a thorough beating.
I mean it! Seriously. How am I meant to write a four page introduction on wandering around Enniskillen (Co. Fermanagh) looking at houses remarking, "hm... shabby. I give it a one."?! What length is the project meant to be?!

Baaaaaaah.

Time to run around in circles. (not that I do that... ^^")

Le temps est venu aujourd'hui...

It's saddening to listen to music that you used to love, sometimes. For the last few weeks I've found myself listening to all of the bands I listened to when I was a kid. Green Day, Blink 182, The Who, JJ72... it's... sad, to realise how much I've changed. It makes me all philosophical and contemplative again :(
Although for the record, I was a cool 8 year old, lol. I may be the only girl of my age who hasn't been anywhere near (or contemplated going to) a Westlife concert. *shudders* Eww... Westlife. Or Busted. Anybody remember Busted? Seems like a million years ago that they broke up. Their lyrics were so bad, they still make me laugh.
I think I'm happy with the person I've come to be... I mean, I infuriate myself with my idiocy, my lack of confidence, my paranoia... but I, at the very least, have principles that I stand by, unlike so many of the people I know. They make a big deal out of the fact that I don't drink, don't do drugs. Why should I?
[/rant]

As of the moment I'm learning to play 'Eight Days a Week' on guitar. Good song to play on stage, right? I'll have to get to that.

Bah, bah, bah.
I need a drummer. Surely there are some drummers around, somewhere! (other than Swanlinbar. I don't believe that the place exists! I don't care if Naomi thinks she lives on the Swanlinbar road. It's. Not. Real. Can this so called drummer-haven be real?)

*sigh* I hate living in Northern Ireland :(
I find it ever so slightly annoying that Ash are going on an A-Z tour of the UK and they aren't coming to Northern Ireland. It's their own freaking country... I've been dying to see them for so long and I'm finally at an age that I'd be allowed to go to their concert.

ooh... eight days a week is easy. Woot!

I'm in a Monkees mood... Mary, Mary, where you going to?
Their TV series was awesome.

Off to do some coursework... hopefully...

Tired >_<

*yawn*

I should probably be in bed right now but I want to post.. so screw that! Sleep is only sort of necessary.

I just moments ago found out that Sweet Mullet have a new single and I am psssyyyyched for a new album!

Ahh... Sweet Mullet. A thai post-hardcore/screamo band. I love 'em <3 New song's... slow...ish.

สภาวะหัวใจล้มเหลวเฉียบพลัน... if only I had any idea how to pronounce that :( I need to learn thai, NOW! *notes down on looong list of languages to learn* I started this week but so far all I know is 'I love you'. My list of 'I love you's now has like, eight languages. That may be a sad list, whatever. It's an obsession.
Hm, superficial, I know, but OMG Tao's hair has changed so much. Not sure I like it so much now... (why, why would you shave any of it...? ;__;)

Love the song below. Sweet Mullet's เพื่อไม่ให้เป็นการเสียเวลา.

When I get time I might upload their album. That may have to wait until the weekend.. or longer, what with all this silly work I have to do. I hate coursework with a passion, seriously.

:)
