Oiche Mhaith...

Yet again, I'm on the computer to do some work and yet again, I end up writing a blog.

Firstly, I'm sad because John and Edward are out of the x factor. And I shall never watch the show again. Who could be bothered to? It's boring without them. Bet their ratings drop by a few million this week. And then they'll bring them back to do something magical! Can't wait for it. Cause... we just know it's going to happen, like!

Secondly, I'm being reported to my form teacher for the second time in a week for yet another nonsense reason. First, I wasn't wearing my school blazer. Is that such a crime? Second, Clare breaks a chair. *shakes fist* I love her really, but she didn't help by taking pictures of it while in front of the CCTV cameras! Granted, I didn't help by apologising to the cameras ^^"

Bah.
But, I'm discovering how much I love shoegaze! Asobi Seksu and My Bloody Valentine are just too cool :) What's weird to me is.. there's not a whole lot of Irish rock bands... but of the few there is.. they're so good. Think about it! U2, Stiff Little Fingers, JJ72... maybe this is just my opinion? I know that no one remembers JJ72. They were so good. Shame things didn't work out.

Yes, Mark's voice is rather androgynous. I like it! Some people can't take the femininity though. Shame... I love the intro of formulae.Their songs 'Brother Sleep' and 'Always and Forever' are just plain awesome. Really beautiful lyrics :)

I've never met anyone who knew them other than my brother. I love him for the music he made me listen to as a kid.

Haha, oiche mhaith, by the way, is the irish for goodnight. Basically all I remember after three years of the language. God, I hated it. It has the most complicated way of saying hello out of any language I can think of! Ridiculous!

Ack, now it's too late to do my work. I'm just going to sleep and let my teacher worry about that tomorrow. *snores*

Just remembered some more Irish! Tá mo chuid gruaige finn rua agus retím go maith le daoine ; ) And not one part of it is true XD (my hair is sooo not ginger. Brown, brown I say! Donn, donn!)

Surprisingly enough...

Heh heh, I actually love John and Edward. Also, I hate people calling them 'Jedward'. It's the same thing as with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie being called Brangelina - can people really not take the effort to say their names? Weird.

I was actually wondering if they've become known outside of the UK (like Susan Boyle was?). Anybody able to shed some light on that for me?
I was surprised to hear some of my friends saying how much they hated them. Seriously, why? They're lovely guys, work sooo hard and are sooooo entertaining!! I will buy their CD if/when it is released. I hope they get through to next week, even my mom has been calling in for them this time! (and if she likes 'em... well, y'know. Y'know? She's a Westlife fan, like.)

For the last two weeks I've been obsessing insanely over Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was so awesome!! I forgot all about it until recently. As a little kid I loved it. I've come to the conclusion that Angel is about five thousand times the vampire Edward of Twilight will ever be. Not that I'm dissing Edward, I mean, I already have tickets for New Moon so I love him but, he's just too... good. He's a good vampire through and through whereas Angel was bad. The baddest of the bad guys. And his name when he was alive was Liam(!) When I realised that I swear, I laughed for about fifteen minutes.

I'm spreading the Buffy love, woot. I've already moulded one obsessive fan, muahaha! And have rekindled another's long forgotten love :)

And OMG when writing this I came across a 'twilight sucks' forum. Harsh much?

Halloweeeen :)

It's Friday the 13th. I hate Friday the 13th.

It's been two weeks since Halloween, I know! I haven't had the time to post anything =/

Had an awesome Halloween, as usual. Just stayed in avec my best friend and watched movies, as usual. I don't care what anyone says, you don't need anything else for halloween! of course, we got up to some silly shenanigans (witchcraft, anyone? XD and NO! Nothing serious.)

One of my favourite things about Halloween has to be the food. And no, not the candy. I love the candy though... Anywho! My mom always makes potato bread (eh, so Irish, but whatever.) and an apple tart, which is the bestest ever :) My best friend just uses me as an excuse to get over to my house every year for the pie *cries* She admitted it, seriously! It hurt me deep, it did.

As of Halloween my hair is now of the purple variety (: Last time I got my hair coloured (red, I believe it was) it was faded within two days - literally. Right now... it's faded. Wtf, like. Waste of money.

The trick or treaters this year scared me... what do you say to the kids?! You hand 'em the candy - accent on the candy. I used to get apples, oranges and peanuts. Not only is that not exciting... I could be allergic to the peanuts! What are these people thinking?! They could be handing a kid their death!! (slight exaggeration, maybe). Anyway, whaddaya say? I don't get it; my mom talks to them for about ten minutes. She's good with kids, it's weird. I haven't been around kids since I was one. (any cracks about how pint/kid sized I still am will most certainly not be accepted >:[ )

So when dear Megan got here we 'dressed up'. Any ideas on what we actually are? My dress is covered in unicorns, so that makes a.. unicorn? And she's supposedly a gothic doll. Anything else that would make sense?

The rest of the night included playing ding dong ditch (pathetically) and manys a movie, including Brokeback Mountain which made me cry. And I'm inhuman(!) Soooo sad. Why can't things work out for the cowboys?! *cries*

Haha, many 'action shots' were taken, but not particularly well. The lighting turned out really oddly on some of them actually, they look a little photoshopped. I thought the one below actually looked rather cool, albeit a little weird.

Enough, anyway. I have to return to Coffee Prince. Awesome drama. I'm on episode eleven... it just got rather interesting :)
